Fear: I’m Not Enough

Welcome to December.  It’s finally time we can focus on Christmas.  Christmas is one of the greatest love stories ever told.  It’s about the God of the universe, loving you so much, He personally enters your world. Scripture puts it like this: 2 The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.  3-4 God went for the . . . Scripture says, Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries . . . Read More »

Fear

To the core of why we fear, I think, is because we don’t know if God is good. I was watching the movie ‘The Shack’ recently. I read the book years ago and loved it. As I watched the movie, I could feel the tension of the father. His three-year-old daughter was kidnapped and killed. The last thing he wanted to do was run to God because he wasn’t sure God was good. I was reminded why I . . . Read More »
