CONQUEST 101—”Wild At Heart”

And so a man’s heart is driven into the darkest regions of his soul, denied the very things he most deeply desires by abandoning the truth and releasing his soul to transparency.   We hide behind our personalities creating a tough-guy image.  It’s a brilliant disguise through deception.  This is the society we live in today. Men can’t show weakness or hurt because we will be exposed to our peers. We must act as machines and stop at nothing to get ahead.  We paint the perfect picture of having it all together...but we don’t.

Why don’t men play the “man”?  Why is it that when men look in their hearts they don’t discover something heroic or courageous, but instead find anger, lust, fear, and self-pity?  God’s intention is for us to explore, build, conquer, and be wild.  Are YOU willing to live to the level of risk God invites us to? Something inside holds us back from pursuing our true selves–-are we truly “Wild at Heart”?
